We are excited to announce that, starting this September, KR will be phasing in-person events back into our event schedule! While the pandemic has taught us much about adaptability and the many positives of connecting virtually – we’re looking forward to interacting with you face to face once again! One of our first in-person events will be the HR Summit 2022, held in three locations for your convenience! Join us in Johannesburg, Cape Town or Durban for a return to networking and first-hand insights that we’ve all sorely missed.
- Johannesburg 13 and 14 September 2022
- Cape Town 20 and 21 September 2022
- Durban 28 and 29 September 2022
To encourage even more networking, discussion and insight opportunities, the HR Summit 2022: Creating the human centric organisation will follow a new format. First, all delegates will hear a first-hand presentation from a leading subject matter expert, which will then be followed by round table discussions with a facilitator to guide the process. The discussions will be “Word Café style” to encourage participants to explore an issue by discussing it in small table groups. The discussions during each session will be for 30 minutes, with the café ambiance intended to allow for more relaxed and open conversations to take place (learn from your peers).
This year, the HR Summit will be addressing a very important issue: Creating the Human Centric Organisation. Building an environment focused on the human needs for recognition, personal development, and rewarding teamwork has become an organisational must-have for talent retention and attraction.
Most organisations have by and large met the challenges of the moment, but as we move in the direction of picturing what a post-pandemic era or future might be, leaders need to reimagine and relook at models that are no longer relevant to how people communicate, collaborate and work today and in the future. HR leaders need to rethink workforce and employee planning, management, performance and experience strategies. As generations collide, workforces become more diverse and people work longer, and from anywhere in the world; traditional career models may soon become a thing of the past. Many of the roles or job titles of tomorrow will be ones we’ve not even thought of or conceptualised yet. Many companies are pushing HR to take a more active role in redefining how and where work gets done with initiatives such as redesigning the physical work environment, implementing a new organisational structure, and enabling transformational change.
This summit will have something for everyone in the HR field – we will cover topics around:
