KR Learning & Development Dialogue Lab

KR Learning & Development Dialogue Lab

18-19 February 2026 • NH Johannesburg Sandton

The KR Learning & Development Dialogue Lab 2026 is an immersive, participative, and experiential gathering designed to explore and strengthen Learning and Development practice across Southern Africa.

This Lab is a meaningful response to the complex challenges of the modern world of work and the shifting needs of organisations, employees, and other key stakeholders.

About the KR Learning & Development Dialogue Lab

This is not a traditional conference filled with PowerPoint presentations. The KR Learning & Development Dialogue Lab is an experiential immersion, a co-created space for collective insight, deep conversation, and meaningful learning.

Participants will work in small, facilitated groups to reflect, question, and innovate around the most pressing issues shaping L&D today.

Who should attend

Chief Learning Officers, Learning and Development Practitioners, Talent and Organisational Development Professionals, and anyone passionate about advancing learning in their organisations.

Purpose and Design

The KR Learning & Development Dialogue Lab is designed to:

  1. Create a learning laboratory to exchange ideas and explore strategies for addressing today’s key L&D challenges, such as:
    • Delivering greater value to the business and strengthening strategic partnerships with leadership.
    • Responding to the AI, digital, and technological tsunami by identifying what is hype and what truly matters.
    • Applying new technologies to make learning more human-centred, accessible, and cost-effective.
    • Developing leadership pipelines that can thrive in complexity and change.
    • Designing and applying evaluation and ROI practices that are practical, meaningful, and future-focused.
  2. Co-create a space that invites and sustains deep inquiry, curiosity, and transformational learning, where participants are willing to change and be changed through dialogue and collaboration.
  3. Re-energise and refocus L&D leaders to strengthen their own capacity, manage burnout, and lead high-performing learning and development functions with renewed purpose.
  4. Connect and collaborate with peers across industries and disciplines, building networks that inspire continued growth beyond the Lab experience.
